  • The Florida State Parental Information and Resource Center of FND (PIRC)- The PIRC is funded by the US Department of Education to provide assistance and support to parents, educators, community organizations, and faith-based groups to increase the kinds and types of parental involvement and engagement to increase student academic achievement. The FL PIRC of FND provides free services statewide to form and foster partnerships between home and school to build sustainable relationships for student success.

  • Parents of the Panhandle Information Network (POPIN) -
    This program, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) provides PTI services to the Panhandle of Florida from Escambia to Alachua County.

  • Parent Education Network (PEN) -
    Florida's Region Three Parent Training and Information Center (PTI) This program, funded by the U.S Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) provides PTI services to the nine most southern counties in the state.  These include: Collier; Hendry; Glades; Martin; Broward; Dade; Lee; Palm Beach; and Monroe.

    The Parents of the Panhandle Information Network and the Parent Education Network, offer free help and information to families in Florida of students with disabilities and the professionals that serve them.  The main focus is on the educational needs of students with disabilities.

  • Transition, Independent Living, Employment, and Supports (TILES)-
    TILES is a statewide project that targets youth and young adults with disabilities, ages 14 to 22, receiving special education and related services.  TILES activities are designed to enable individuals with disabilities and their families to participate more effectively with professionals in meeting the vocational, independent living, and rehabilitation needs of individuals with disabilities.

  • VISIONS-
    This program, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), provides Parent Training and Information (PTI) services to Native American families across the country. VISIONS helps to ensure that Native American families of children with the full range of disabilities have the training and information they need to prepare their children for not only school, but to be able to lead productive, independent lives to the fullest extent possible.

  • Parents Educating Parents in the Community (PEP)-
    The PEP Project is unique and different.  Since 1993, PEP has provided information, training, and support to parents of children with disabilities in isolated, rural areas of Florida.  These areas include: Hendry, Glades, and Gadsden Counties, along with Immokalee and Big Cypress.

  • Sharing the Commitment, Collier and Polk Counties -
    Sharing the Commitment is a partnership between local County Exceptional Student Education Departments and Family Network on Disabilities (FND) to provide information, training and support to educators, parents, and agencies on services and programs for students with disabilities. Sharing the Commitment sponsors workshops for all persons interested in services for students with disabilities.

  • Parent to Parent-
    The purpose of a Parent to Parent matching program is to match trained parents who are experiencing a time of crisis or are seeking resources and information.

  • Dadvocates - Involving fathers in the lives of their children with disabilities.

  • First Florida Pooled Trust-
    The First Florida Pooled Trust is a special needs trust for persons with disabilities of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. Like all special needs trusts, it has only one purpose: To allow those with disabilities of any age to
    retain access to their assets and still qualify for government benefits, such as Medicaid or Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

  • Paying tribute to loved ones-
    A regular series of tributes to friends and loved ones with disabilities - who are either still with us or who have passed on.

  • Heart & Hope
    What is Heart and Hope? It’s a full day event that is designed to help bring individuals who are at risk, families who have children with disabilities and the professionals who serve them awareness in of their options and rights that are available to them within the school system and beyond.
